Cooper is a horse I bought for my husband and son,
but has so much to offer beginner riders that I’ve opened up my barn
to share him with friends. In the past 2 years, he has given
dozens of children and adults a chance to learn about horse safety,
leadership,
care, and grooming. He is known at home as “The
Cooper-Not-So-Express” as he is slow to react, and quick to forgive
mistakes. Cooper is as “bomb proof” as family horses get – and
has helped to restore confidence for several friends who have had
bad experiences with horses. Come enjoy a week in June or July
to let your child learn horse safety basics, ride on a lunge line in
a round pen, participate in crafts, and horse related activities.
Some activities include “Painting the Ponies”, “Water Day”,
“Obstacle Course” creating a camp horse shirt, and more!
